Once a month. Virtual. No agenda. No performance. No networking energy. Just women showing up as they actually are — in their pajamas, in their kitchens, in five minutes of quiet they carved out of a full day.

HIKE Lab is the depth. Happy Hour Tour is the in-person glue. The Pajama Party is the thing that keeps the community warm in between all of it — the virtual living room, the group chat made live.
It doesn't need to be programmed. It doesn't need sponsors. It doesn't need to be anything other than women who are glad they showed up.
Working moms, women with long commutes, women in rural parts of the Inland Northwest, women who just had a long week — the Pajama Party meets them where they are. Literally. In their homes.
The moment you add a speaker or a structure, you change who shows up and why. A loose prompt and a Zoom call are the closest thing to an actual conversation, which is what the community needs.
Asking everyone to show up as they are is a leveler. It removes the performance of a professional appearance. It signals immediately that this is not that kind of event. It turns out that's a relief for most people.
If you need me to say, yes, then "Yes!" Showing up as you are removes the performance of a professional appearance. We've never had a complaint about this rule. Only relief.
The camera is on as a safety measure. The prompt is designed to make it easy to say something without putting yourself on the spot. Plenty of introverts come every month, and I'm one of them.
That's fine. Show up for 30 minutes. There's no awkward moment when you leave — just go. Showing up at all is what matters.
No. The Pajama Party is open to any woman, woman-identifying, or femme-presenting person aligned with the HIKE mission. No membership required, but registration is required.
