Podcast Guest Policy

Thank you for joining us on the HIKE with Her Podcast. This policy outlines how content recorded in connection with your guest appearance will be used, your rights as a guest, and the expectations we have for one another. By confirming your appearance — whether through a booking form, email, or verbal agreement — you agree to the terms below.

1.  Content Ownership & Rights

All audio, video, photographs, and related content produced in connection with your guest appearance on the HIKE with Her Podcast (collectively, "Podcast Content") are the property of HIKE WITH HER LLC. By agreeing to appear as a guest, you grant HIKE WITH HER LLC an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, publish, distribute, and repurpose Podcast Content in any medium, including but not limited to:

- Full podcast episodes (audio and/or video)

- Short-form clips and highlight reels for social media

- Promotional and marketing materials

- Blog posts, articles, and written content derived from the episode

- Email newsletters and community communications

- Future compilations or themed content series

2.  Guest Image & Likeness Rights

By confirming your appearance, you grant HIKE WITH HER LLC the right to use your name, likeness, voice, photograph, headshot, and professional biography in connection with the promotion and distribution of your episode and HIKE with Her Podcast generally. This includes use on the HIKE website, social media channels, podcast platforms, email communications, and any other marketing materials.

HIKE will make reasonable efforts to present guests professionally and accurately. If you have specific concerns about how your image or bio is used, please communicate them in advance of recording.

3.  Guest Use of Episode Content

We love when our guests share their episodes! You are encouraged to share and repurpose your episode, subject to the following guidelines:

You may share the full episode link on your own platforms (social media, website, newsletter, etc.).

You may share short clips, audiograms, or quote graphics produced by HIKE, or create your own using content from your episode.

Any use of your episode should credit the HIKE with Her Podcast and, where possible, include a link back to hikewithher.com or the episode page.

You may not re-publish the full episode on your own podcast feed or a competing platform without prior written consent from HIKE WITH HER LLC.

You may not edit or alter the episode content in a way that misrepresents the original conversation.

4.  Photo & Headshot Submissions

Guests may be asked to submit a professional headshot and biography for use in episode promotion. By submitting these materials, you confirm that you own the rights to the images provided and grant HIKE WITH HER LLC permission to use them in connection with your episode and general podcast promotion.

HIKE will not use submitted headshots or photos for purposes unrelated to podcast promotion without your consent.

5.  Recording & Session Expectations

To ensure the best possible experience for you and our audience, we ask that guests:

Record from a quiet, well-lit environment with a reliable internet connection.

Use headphones or earbuds to minimize audio feedback.

Be available at the scheduled time and notify us as early as possible if you need to reschedule.

Review any pre-submitted questions or discussion topics in advance.

HIKE reserves the right to edit episodes for length, clarity, and quality. We will not materially alter the meaning of your statements, but we may remove filler words, technical errors, or off-topic segments.

6.  Editorial Discretion

HIKE WITH HER LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to decline to publish, delay publication of, or remove from circulation any episode or content that is inconsistent with the values, mission, or community standards of HIKE with Her. In such cases, HIKE will notify the guest.

7.  No Compensation

Guest appearances on the HIKE with Her Podcast are provided on a voluntary, unpaid basis unless a separate written agreement has been executed. Appearing as a guest does not constitute an employment, contractor, or sponsorship relationship with HIKE WITH HER LLC.

8.  Confidentiality

If, in the course of recording, either party shares information that is explicitly identified as confidential, both parties agree to treat such information with reasonable discretion and not to disclose it publicly without consent.

9.  Policy Updates

HIKE WITH HER LLC reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The most current version will be available at hikewithher.com. Your continued participation as a guest following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
