Anniversary Party

A year ago, HIKE with Her was an idea that women in this region were done with the status quo and ready for something new. On September 23 that idea showed up!

They came in their power suits, whatever that meant to each of them, because that was the dress code: the blazer that makes you walk faster, the heels that make you stand taller, the dress that's been waiting for a special occasion. Even a dinosaur costume would have qualified. Every guest found a hand-written name tag waiting for her with a sticker chosen specifically for her. A hiking boot for the woman who shows up ready to go the distance. A compass for the one who points people where they need to go. A lantern, a bee, a spool of thread. Not one of them was random.

Charcuterie from Boards by Brit, lemon bars from Spokane Food and Events, wine from The Tipsy Vine, and a photo booth with a real line at it. A photographer and a content creator worked the room, which we called the paparazzi. On every table sat two questions: what did 2026 teach you, and what are you making room for in 2027?

One guest said, "I've never been to a networking event where I could speak to every single person in the room." Another said, "it's hot in here." Both were true. It was flawed and it was perfect and it was exactly what was needed.

That's the thing we built HIKE for. Not more networking. A room where you actually know everyone by the time you leave.
