Only 119 registered with the state (MWBE, 10/24/25)
46.5% of all businesses in Washington are women-owned, including employer + non-employer firms. (U.S. Small Business Administration, Office of Advocacy, 2024)
Women are the first to take a hit when there is an economic downturn. (example: COVID-19)
73% of Spokane County women (16+) are in the labor force; among moms with kids 6–17, it’s ~80%. (Employment Security Department, 2025)
